Florida auto transport
Florida is located in the southeastern region of the United States and it borders Georgia and Alabama to the North. Much of its land mass is made up of a peninsula with the Gulf of Mexico to the west and south and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. It is the fourth most populous state in the US and 2008 estimates had its population at 18,328,340. Its current Governor is Charlie Crist who took office in January 2007.
Florida has the nation's fourth largest economy and most of that income is generated by tourism. Florida's Walt Disney World Resort, which is the world's largest vacation resort, more than five major sports franchises, great beaches and thriving marine life are just a handful of the state's attractions. Florida attracts around 60 million tourists to attractions like these each year
Since tourism is Florida's greatest revenue generator--transportation in Florida is plentiful. It has a bevy of different air ports and public transportation available; as well as some of the world's busiest ports. Florida has 1,473 miles of interstate highway, as well as 15,987 miles of non-interstate highway.
