Pensacola, Florida Auto Transportation

Pensacola, Florida is the western most city in the Florida panhandle. It was established in 1559 as one of the first European settlements in the continental United States and as of 2007 boasted a population of 54,283. Its current mayor is Mike Wiggins who was elected in November of 2008.


Pensacola is served by interstate 10, which stretches from Santa Monica, California all the way to Jacksonville, Florida.  Pensacola is home to several DMVs, including the ones located at 100 Stumpfield Road and 213 Palafox Place.


Pensacola is famous for its Naval Air Station, which is also known as “The Cradle of Naval Aviation.”  Established in 1913, Naval Air Station Pensacola serves as the main training base for the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard Aviators and Naval Flight Officers. The Naval Air Station also servers as the home base for the Blue Angels, the militaries first officially sanctioned aerial demonstration team.
