Dodge Car Transport from Reliable Car Transportation.com

Dodge is a division of the Chrysler Group and is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan; its vehicles are sold throughout the United States and the company itself was founded in 1914. Dodge originally built cars, minivans, sport utility vehicles, and until recently, pickup trucks; its Ram line has since been retooled into its own line of trucks. Dodge was originally its own company, though it was sold to the Chrysler group in 1928.

The Dodge lineup is currently selling the Caliber, the Avenger, the Charger, the Challenger, the Viper, the Journey, the Nitro and the Durango as well as the Grand Caravan. Dodge shares many of the same production facilities that Chrysler does, mainly because Dodge is a subsidiary company of Chrysler and therefore shares the same resources as its parent company. It has its vehicles built in the Belvidere factory, the Conner Avenue factory, which specializes in small-scale production (mainly the Dodge Viper), and until 1971 the Los Angeles plant, which produced much of Dodge’s vehicles at the time.

Dodge sells vehicles across the United States and, indeed, the entire world, with major markets in Asia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe and Mexico, as well as smaller Asian markets such as Taiwan. To this day its marketing and sales are controlled by the Chrysler Group, which has overseen many other projects as well. Dodge was originally the founder of the Ram line, which has since been stripped and turned into its own brand of pickup and full-sized trucks.
